Blessings for Babies is a program that ministers to the expectant parent from the time they learn they are having a baby until just after he/she is born. Throughout the nine months the mother is contacted and prayed with on a regular basis in person, by phone, or by e-mail and social media to see how she is doing. Blessings for Babies wants to be the first ministry in the church to minister to the unborn child and parents.

2013 Personal Training - Semi-Private Sessions

We are offering the following multi-class registration discounts off of the semester pricing for 3 or more classes.  These discounts are applied to the total registration fee at the end of registration. They also only apply when registering for 3 or more classes in the same registration at the same time.

Conservatory Summer 2013 Registration and Tuition Payments

Registration and/or Tuition Payment for the Conservatory Summer Semester - Music Lessons - May 28-July 22, 2013

The Johnson Ferry Conservatory for the Arts is a private lesson program by which individuals can come to the church and take music lessons.

Currently, instruction is available in piano, voice, guitar, ukulele, bass guitar, flute, clarinet, bassoon, oboe, trumpet, trombone, french horn, baritone/euphonium, tuba, violin, viola, cello and percussion.

The JFBC Conservatory is staffed by Christian instructors, who are qualified and competent in their individual areas of expertise.

The summer session officially begins, May 28th, although some teachers may do earlier lessons, and some may start a week later.  For the summer session, we ask students to commit to 4, 6 or 8 hours of lessons (normally 4 to 8 weeks of either half hour, 45 min. or hour lessons), over the 11 week summer.  There is some flexibility for make-ups for pre-planned out of town trips and camps, communicated to your instructor at the beginning of the semester.

The Parent Commissioning services at JF are the way our church family publicly recognizes Christian parents, and commissions them to raise their child(ren) in a God-honoring home. Our church family is honored to support you in this way.

Parent Commissionings happen on a periodic basis.  Johnson Ferry church members and regular attenders, as approved by JF ministerial staff, are welcome to participate.

This is a 5-day camp geared toward rising 1st through 5th graders designed to introduce the members of the String Family of instruments. Camp will be held from 9a.m. – 12 p.m. each day and enrollment is limited to 20 campers. $95 fee, includes all supplies and use of instruments for the entire week.

TransParent - Transition to Parenting

4-week class for first time expectant parents. Sunday, June 30- Sunday, July 21 at 11:15 a.m. in the Vista.

First-time expectant moms and dads have a big job ahead of them! Put some tools in your diaper bag to help you through this new season of life! Learn to parent as a team, divide responsibilities and build greater bonds between your new baby and each other. Experts from the fields of marriage, parenting, and family relationships will be leading the study. This 4-week class begins on June 30th and meets at 11:15 a.m. in the Vista.

Student Life Camp 2013

Middle School Summer Camp at Samford University in Birmingham, AL. ~ 7/22-7/26

All students completing 6th-8th grades are invited to attend this powerful week of worship, large and small group Bible study, and recreation from July 22nd - 26th. Student Life is proud to host Ed Newton as camp pastor and Rush of Fools as the worship band. The total cost of the trip is $319, and is all inclusive for the week. 2013 British Soccer Camp

2013 British Soccer Camp from 8:30 am - 12:45 pm from July 29 - August 2. Camp will be located on the JF Fields.

Challenger Sports is a nationally recognized organization that brings some of the best soccer talent from Britain to America.  Your child will learn top notch skills through fun games and drills led by serious soccer players from across the pond!  This is one of the best soccer camps in the area.

Each Camper will receive a soccer ball, t-shirt, jersey, and a poster all provided by Challenger Sports at camp!

Campers should wear shin guards and sunscreen and bring a water bottle to the JFBC Fields. Cleats are recommended, and campers should bring tennis shoes for indoor activity in the event of inclement weather.

Marriage Prep Workshop is designed to help engaged couples build their marriages on a solid foundation.

One of the essential keys to having a long-lasting and rewarding marriage is to start it off right from the very beginning. However, many young couples spend all their time and energy during their engagement planning a wedding; not preparing for a lifetime of marriage. Johnson Ferry's Marriage Prep is a weekend workshop designed to help engaged couples focus on building their marriages on a solid foundation.

So, what happens at Marriage Prep? We combine relevant teaching with video clips, discussion opportunities and other creative tools to get you thinking about what marriage will truly be like. We even feed you some great food!

The Married Girl's Guide to Great Sex

The Married Girl's Guide to Great Sex~ 8/10/13 ~ 8:30 a.m. - 3 p.m. ~ Student Center South ~ $25/person

Many of God's girls have a view of sex that has been tarnished and distorted by our world. This one-day conference is designed to help young women discover why God created sex and to give them a biblical perspective of how intimacy can bring strength and joy to their marriages. 

Join Jenifer Johnson and Polly Wright, founder of We Are Cherished, in the Student Center South from 8:30 - 3 p.m.  Cost is $25/person and includes breakfast, lunch, course materials and a copy of "The Good Girls Guide to Great Sex."

Impact Cheerleading Fall 2013 - 4 yrs thru Kindergarten

Season begins Saturday, August 10 with Sizing Day/Stunt Clinic and concludes in January with an End of Season Celebration! One weekday practice per week and one weekend practice per week, unless there is an event.

We are offering the following multi-class registration discounts off of the semester pricing for registering for 3 or more different  classes.  These discounts are applied to the total registration fee at the end of registration. 
3 classes - $10.00
4 classes - $26.00
5 or more classes - $48.00
To qualify, you must register for all of your classes at the same time in one registration. You will find the discount options on the bottom of page 3 of the registration.

If you are over 60 and would like to receive the 15% senior discount, please use the Senior Discount Code "IAMOVER60" during registration.  This code is case sensitive and needs to be capitalized.

**The Recreation Ministry reserves the right to discontinue any Fitness or Childcare class (with notice) based on attendance.

Join us for a fun-filled night. Drop off your kiddos with childcare (birth through 5th grade), go enjoy dinner at a local restaurant(within a 2 mile radius) and laugh your dessert off as we enjoy Third String Varsity, a 3-man improv group with Lee Taylor, Minister of Outreach, from 8 - 9:30 p.m in the Student Center South.  Cost is $10/person

A support Group for those who have lost a loved one through death. You will find comfort in being with others that are going through the same hurt and loss.

Teeny Tykes & Tunes: Baby/Toddler Music Class Fall 2013

Teeny Tykes and Tunes is a faith-based music class for babies and toddlers used at Johnson Ferry!

Fall Semester Class
September 2013 (3 months - 3 years)

A parent/child interactive class that focuses on building musical foundations through the use of songs, rhythm, instruments and movement.

Classes are available Tuesday & Thursday mornings from 10-10:45 a.m. and Wednesday evenings from 6-6:45 p.m. $15 registration fee includes weekly classes and a Teeny Tykes and Tunes CD.

Marriage Prep Workshop - Oct. 18 (7 p.m. - 9:30 p.m.) and Oct. 19 (9 a.m. - 3 p.m.) in Room 108. Includes dinner on Friday and breakfast and lunch on Saturday. $49 per couple

However, many young couples spend all their time and energy during their engagement planning a wedding; not preparing for a lifetime of marriage. Johnson Ferry's Marriage Prep is a weekend workshop designed to help engaged couples focus on building their marriages on a solid foundation.

So, what happens at Marriage Prep? We combine relevant teaching with video clips, discussion opportunities and other creative tools to get you thinking about what marriage will truly be like. We even feed you some great food!
